Video: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Hands On Impressions
Advertisement
Earlier this morning New Super Mario Bros. 2 was released on the Japanese eShop, we bought of course because we Japanese 3DS and did a bit of a live stream earlier too.
If you missed it, no problem as it’s archived here. The first video is World 1 of the game, the second video is a bit of World 2 and the new Coin Rush mode. The second video is of higher quality, this was our first live stream so feedback is welcome!
If you do have a Japanese 3DS and you’re not sure how to buy it we’ve also made a video on how to do that too, don’t steal our credit card details.
Would love to hear your thoughts on New Super Mario Bros 2. Our thoughts are in the videos, but we’ll have more on the game soon.

I can’t get the Justin.tv videos to work, an ad shows then nothing… :/
Same problem here.
If you try this link do they work?

I’ll put a note in the article. Sorry guys.
Still didn’t work for me, after the ad, it’s just a black screen, though I do see a little gray bar loading under it, but it never plays.
Thanks for the YouTube video though, looks fun!
They worked fine for me. Great work sir. Had flashbacks to The Wizard watching your different emotions reflected in the top screen.
Oh man I’m jealous! I used to import everything Nintendo once upon a time but now I try and support Nintendo Australia. Dunno why though!
Yea, I import, but would love to try and support them, if only that didn’t want every single dollar out of my wallet!
Nice, I’m really looking forward to this game, I’m just so sad I need to wait another 19 days for it to come out here in Australia.
By the way, if you are actually interested in what it says on the final screen, here you go.
Top option: hitori de charenji/ single player challenge
I can’t make out the bottom option as well as the first, but I’m pretty sure it says:
surechigai dēta ni charenji/passing data challenge, which I would assume means street-pass data challenge.
