Nintendo Download Updates (1/11) Much Fit, so discount, such time difference
This weeks update is all about the bargains, all but two games listed here are either on sale of have received a permanent price drop. One of those two is free as well and it’s the release of Wii Fit U – Finally.
This game was meant to be out during the systems launch window, but we all know what happened. Now free to try for 31 days you can play everything Wii Fit U has to offer with no money down, but you will need a balance board. If you want to continue to play then all you need to do is buy a Wii Fit Meter (also out this Friday). It’s quite simple… well not so, check this story for all the details.
Elsewhere Ubisoft has gone nuts and dropped the price on basically everything is had put out on the Wii U. Assassin’s Creed III gets the biggest discount and there are some great discounts for ZombiU as well all their other games. To celebrate Halloween as well Capcom have dropped the price of Resident Evil: Revelations on the Wii U and the 3DS as well as Mercenaries.
There’s also a ton of indie stuff discounted on both consoles – really if you’ve been waiting for any of these titles – it’s time to jump in. Give your Wii U or 3DS a library boost!
Note: Weekly eShop updates on Fridays have now moved back one hour. It’s now 1am Friday AEDT and 10pm Thursday AWST. You can thank Europe for that.

where can we buy the wii fit meter from? I cant find it listed on EB or JB
I went into EB today (Experience Store in Melbourne) and it’s listed in their system as a special order. So i’ve slapped down a deposit, hopefully Friday but they didn’t seem to know too much about it there.
I’ve been looking everywhere for it too. Ozgameshop have it for sale $32.00, so $2.00 more than it is meant to retail for here, including delivery if you can wait the 10 days. My local EB didn’t know about it so I figure I’ll wait and see if anyone has it Friday, and if not, import it.

Has anyone visited an EB to confirm that they are selling the meters yet?
Manager at my local EB confirmed that the Wii Fit U Fit Meters are special order / online only, and won’t be stocked in on store shelves. Looks like JB is doing the same. Real shame, was hoping to hook it up to my game today.
JB Doncaster has stock of them but limited supply. Maybe try calling your local store?
Saw a bunch of Wii Fit Meters at JB and EB in Chadstone today. No need for a special order, they seemed readily available. $28 at JB.
Fit Meters are on sale on JB’s site now.
JB have it online at just a little under $28. Haven’t seen them on store shelves.
You might have to ask for one when you go into a JB. The store I went to didn’t have them on the shelves either but someone went out the back and got one for me.
