Looks like Nintendo is set to fresh its range of merchandise with a bunch of new toys, figures and even race track set. Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata said earlier this they were going to expand their merchandising efforts, looks like this is just the beginning of it.

The most impressive of which is a World of Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Track Set which is due in October and has ton of racing loops just like an in game Mario Kart 8 track. There’s also a smaller single loop set. There’s no confirmation of exactly which racers will come with each race set.

The Mario Kart 8 range doesn’t stop there with range of IR Wall Climbers that drive on the wall and ceilings. There’s Mario, Luigi and Yoshi model of them, we assume they don’t actually have anti-gravity technology.

On the figure side of things there’s a new range of small figures including the Link, Fire Mario, Ice Luigi, Donkey Kong, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Wario and Ganon. The picture also shows Olimar, Fox McCloud, Pit from Kid Icarus and Captain Falcon although there isn’t a part number for those yet.

From there you’ve got 4 inch figures, 6 inch figures a nine inch Mario figure and a huge 20 inch one as well. There’s also a new range of plushes and Super Mario ‘Coin Crashers’. All of the above toys are due out later in the year, a lot of the ‘photos’ are still renders because of this.

Out now there’s a set of three figures and two ‘Micro Land’ packs which have figures as well as a ‘world’ to place them in.
