E3 2012: Fire Emblem: Awakening Coming To America

In an apparent slip up, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has announced that Fire Emblem: Awakening is indeed getting localised and is coming to America.
The information was revealed after Nintendo’s 3DS Software Showcase to Kotaku. Reggie believed that Fire Emblem was in the 3DS press kit and therefore revealed the information. Oops.
Naturally with this kind of off-the-cuff comment, there was no date announced and there is of course no way of knowing if it’s coming to Europe or even Australia.
That’s alright, we can wait.

Nintendo of Europe already confirmed Fire Emblem: Awakening for a 2012 release at the last 3DS Nintendo Direct a few months ago 🙂
NoE and NoA have been a bit disconnected when it comes to releases recently. Like with Xenoblade, Last Story, Pandora’s Tower. Good thing we seem to be more associated with NoE down here.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that true only for console releases? I thought we still followed NoA when it came to handhelds, and in this case the 3DS?
Thanks dude, I honestly couldn’t remember… I suppose I should have looked it up.
