Australian Nintendo Download Updates (13/2) – We Wear the Mask
Its an absolutely huge update this week and Nintendo 3DS owners should be feel pretty happy about it. That’s of course if your wallet is up to the challenge.
Obviously the big games are Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate which both come with a bonus theme if you purchase them on the eShop. If you’re reading this article its likely you’re considering it. Both games support some of the new features of the New Nintendo 3DS which is nice.
IronFall: Invasion also supports the New 3DS and brings, finally, a third person shooter to the system. The game is available as a trial and then you can either buy just the singleplayer or the multiplayer components depending on what you like. Want both? Well of course you can do that too.
There’s also a duo of Kirby games to try out, the new Nintendo Anime Channel which should at least have some interesting things to watch on it and Wii U owners well there’s something for you too.
So what are you picking up this week?

I shall be buying Majora’s mask the moment I can. decided to go digitally, just so i dont have to carry around that game and smash 😀
Got the limited edition of the Majora’s Mask on preorder, so as tempting as that theme may be I’ll have to pass 🙁
But that gold theme is still tempting!
Getting physical copies of both Majora’s Mask (limited edition) and Monster Hunter, so not downloading anything much this week. I’ll try out the free version of ironfall though. Even though I’m not a huge FPS person it looks like the dev’s have put in a lot of effort. Might buy it if it’s fun 🙂
downloading eshop version of majora’s, just like the convenience, plus with little kids around, it is more practical!
Fantasy Zone 3D for me FINALLY! Love that game but never completed, on 3DS I’m likely to sink the hours in required to pass it! Also getting Majora’s retail and am tempted by Monster Hunter 4 but not convinced I’ll find a spare 300hrs to get into it. Ace Combat next week is gonna be great too!
the web site redesign is too busy and confusing (I do this shit for a living) technically clever but complexity does not work, it makes things unusable, too many nerd features
I could not bring myself to read a single article
Thanks for the feedback, it’s still a work in progress and we’ve put a lot of things up to see what works and what doesn’t. Lot of the subpages especially don’t have a final layout.
I still don’t see Fantasy Zone 3D, are you sure Australia was getting it too?
I’m not seeing Fantasy Zone 3D either. Shame, I’ve been looking forward to it!
I really wanted Fantasy Zone, but cannot see it!!! So sad. Definitely Aussie release?
Yeah what the hell? My 2013 MacBook Pro with Retina Display is literally chugging along trying to scroll up and down pages. Did anyone test this thing? Did you guys only test it on Google Ultron or something, with 96GB installed RAM? There is also so much shit on the page that I think I’m going to have a panic attack just glancing around. What the fuck.
It was developed on a Retina iMac and a Macbook Air from a couple of years ago using Safari, Firefox and Chrome. The Air has 8GB and the iMac 16GB so nothing special.
The site is 5mb to load the homepage then 4.1 of it is cached after that you don’t need to load anything again. The Facebook and Twitter plugins being iFrames can cause slowdowns.
As I said to guy above nothing is finalised and we’re still working on the layout, especially for mobiles.
3D Fantasy Zone isn’t even on the Aus classification site. So 3D SoR2 gets rated when it hasn’t even been announced but Fantasy Zone is in some kind of mysterious limbo…?
Is 3D fantasy getting an aussie release? I hope we get that and the second game.
