Nintendo Download Update (29/5) – Gaining Traction

So it’s a pretty quiet this week in the eShop thi- what’s that? Tons of sales on Wii U and 3DS? Minish Cap on Virtual Console? Mario Golf on the 3DS Virtual Console as well? Well maybe this week isn’t so bad after all.

I’ll stop being coy, and just get this out there: MARIO KART 8! Hold your horses, it comes out Friday night, but hey, you’re probably shaking already in excitement. Don’t forget, you also get a free game to choose from, as long as you buy before 31/7. And if you bought Super Mario Kart on Virtual Console a while back, you get $10.40 AUD off the eShop price of Mario Kart 8.While your brain is processing all of that, go read our review! And you’ve probably already heard of Pullblox World for the Wii U being announced, and now you can grab the previous two titles on the 3DS for $6.50 each! Yup, go do that.

Still breathing? Alright, so it looks like we’re also getting all our eShop Batman games 75% off to celebrate 75 years of Batman. That’s your Arkhams, your LEGO Batman, all of it. On top of that, CAPCOM are putting a bunch of their games on sale as well, with Resident Evil and Super Street Fighter for some pretty gnarly prices.
