Disgaea 5 Complete delayed on Aussie eShop to match delayed retail release
The digital version of Disgaea 5 Complete has been pushed back on the Australian Nintendo Switch eShop to June 2nd. This release date now matches the game’s release date in stores which was delayed earlier this week.
Lucky for you the Switch is entirely region free so you don’t have to put up with this crap, check out our bargain guide to find another region to buy it from if you can’t wait.
We get it, games get delayed. But to push back a digital release two days before its meant to come out is just mean. We’re again calling on Nintendo or whoever needs to fix this to act as soon as possible.
This is becoming a trend with third party Switch games here in Australia. Gamers will not wait to buy a game they can get for the same price simply by switching region, sales will then reflect poorly here and fewer and fewer games will actually come to retail in Australia.
No other regions have to deal with this.
It’s only one more week. If you were willing to go digital you could have had it day one on the JPN eShop in full English. I do hope this doesn’t become a trend though. What’s causing the delays?
It is still a hassle to go through the hoops of making another account and buying credit through a third party.
It’s probably the cost of cartridges, no one is going to print them for just Australia so we’ll be stealing them off Europe or America I reckon.
Being an Australian Nintendo fan is suffering. I’m tremendously surprised that we are getting the Splatoon 2 Pro Controller.
