If you’ve read many lists of the worst or weirdest game covers, then you’ve most likely seen Phalanx, or more specifically its SNES port. Well, in a surprising move, Zoom Inc. have unveiled a remake of the game for Japan on WiiWare at the price of 500 Points, but that doesn’t mean it won’t eventually make it to our shores.
The WiiWare version appears to be near the same as the original game, except with updated graphics and possibly new sound.
Zoom Inc. also showed another WiiWare game called Fantastic Cube for 800 Points. It looks a bit like Puzzle Bobble, but in space. Again, no word on it coming out of Japan, but hopefully we’ll see them at some time in the future. You can see more pictures of both games at Game Watch.
