At a time of uncertainty a hero must stand up and be counted, that would be where you come in. Zlttp has made its return on the GBA and has given Zelda fans something to smile about because this game kicks arse. The game starts with Link being woken up as he hears cries for help from Princess Zelda and as a true hero begins his quest by saving the girl. He then goes on an epic adventure through the Hylian countryside in search of the master sword defeating a number of enemies and completing entertaining side missions on his travels. But don’t be fooled because getting the master sword is only a quarter of the game. The enemy in the game is Ganon a powerful wizard who appears in all of the Zelda games who has captured the seven princess to take control of the almighty triforce. If you don’t know what I’m talking that makes two of us.
The graphics for the LTTP are the orginial SNES graphics with slight changes for the GBA but mostly the same however in the Four Sword there is pretty much new graphics for all of it. This new style inspired by Wind Waker works quite well on the GBA with the animation on the actual links very good.
The sound is classic using lots of sounds from the SNES version and imporving on them Link now speaks when every he gets hurt or uses his sword. These Sound samples are lifted from Ocarina and work very well but link most things get annoying after a while!
The music although mostly midi is pretty good again nothing much has changed from the SNES versions and frankly there does’nt have to.
All in all this is an excellent game and a must have for all GBA owners purely because it is a reborn classic. Also check out the Four Swords multi-player game included in this handy little cartridge which is an interesting story line which is a totally different world and style of Zelda games
