Your Wii U is possibly on Australian shores at Nintendo Australia’s HQ
With the Australian launch of the Wii U now just three weeks away, it looks like the Australian units might have landed in the country.
A reader, Andrew has sent us this picture from Nintendo Australia’s headquarters in Melbourne which has two big trucks sitting in the loading dock. Andrew who drives past the building a lot says he hasn’t seen that many trucks there in a while. He also says, while you can’t see it in the picture the warehouse has heaps of pallets filled with boxes inside.
Now this could just be the standard for Nintendo’s warehouse, it is a warehouse afterwall. But two trucks? Lots of boxes? We like those odds.
Don’t get too excited though, it doesn’t mean you’ll get your hands on system any earlier. Lucky you got that preorder in right?
I pre-ordered my Wii U today! Now for a fairly short wait until launch day. I’m amazed we’re getting it before Japan.
I would hope so, only 15 days to go! on the other hand only 3 days for the US
Easy tiger.
At least the containers didn’t fall into the sea. 🙂
I per ordered the day the prices where announced so at least one of those are mine.
Hey, what are you doing with my Wii U at your house Bill?
