Win: Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics up for grabs

The excellent folks at SEGA Australia have been kind enough to us two copies of the upcoming Mario and Sonic crossover, plus some extra goodies

If you hadn’t noticed the giant Sonic and Mario to the left and right of the site, you wouldn’t know that we’re running a competition to pick up a copy of Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics for the Nintendo DS, plus some badges to pin to your backpack, little sister, or whatever you like.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games puts Mario and Sonic and their friends back against each other as they take on the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The Wii version of the game this time around will make use of the Wii Fit balance board for multiple sports (though if you don’t have one you can still play it just fine). The Nintendo DS also gets a new iteration; both the DS and Wii versions contain a returning line up of Nintendo and SEGA characters including Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Tails, Princess Peach, and Amy to name a few. Joining the line up this time around include Donkey Kong and Metal Sonic amongst others.

Let’s have a look at what you can win

To win these prizes, all you have to do is tell us what sport from the Summer Olympics you would most like to see played at the Winter Olympics, and why it would be fun. None of this 25 words or less business; we want more than 25, with some great sporting ideas crossed over. If Mario and Sonic can get along in a game, then Summer sports can be played on the ice, snow, and freezing cold!
