“”Financial crisis? What financial crisis?”” says Nintendo as they plan to raise the production levels of the Wii. Nintendo is pumping out 2.4 million units a month worldwide as it ramps up for the holiday season. Last year Nintendo were making ONLY 1.6 million, an increase of 33%. Reggie Fils-Aime says that they producing an unprecedented level of hardware to try to meet demand. With some stores today still unable to fulfil demand we can only see this as a good thing.
