After running into some issues during development of the Wii U version of Oddworld: New ‘N Tasty, developers Just Add Water have shown off some screenshots of the still-in-progress Wii U build of the game.

These screenshots confirm that regardless of the issues (one being the 8GB model of Wii U and it’s limited storage space, according to Oddworld Inhabitants founder Lorne Lanning), JAW has kept pushing forward with development of the Wii U version.

While the screenshots do have a few rough edges compared to the final game on other platforms, it’s important to note that these are all work-in-progress images.

It’s fantastic to see a developer like Just Add Water stick to their commitments with the Wii U, regardless of technical issues or concerns about the system’s install base. Hopefully those of you who have been waiting for the Wii U version of the game won’t have to hold out too much longer!
