At an investors briefing meeting today Satoru Iwata has told investors that the Wii U price won’t be revealed at E3 2012. More details on the system and games will be but final pricing will be held for a later date.

Iwata did reconfirm though the system is still on track for 2012 in Japan, America, Europe and even Australia.

Nintendo hasn’t announced the pricing for its last two systems at E3. The Wii price was announced in September 2006, two months it’s release and the 3DS was priced a couple of months before ts release as well.

Nintendo have admitted that they even made the 3DS more expensive after the amount of hype it got at E3 2010.

So yes, the Wii U price could be worth hiding, it might be really expensive. But it’s most likely business as usual for Nintendo. However we don’t think that will stop you all from guessing anyway.
