News that will divide a community now, Nintendo has confirmed Shigeru Miyamoto’s comments from yesterday that a new Mario title for the Wii U would be shown at E3. But it’s one we’ve might have seen before, at least in some form.
Speaking to Kotaku, Nintendo has responded to queries for more clarification of just what we could expect. Here’s what they had to say;
In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year’s E3 Expo. This is based on the Mario experience that was demonstrated at last year’s E3 Expo. We’ll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date.
So there you have it, a 2D Mario title, possibly with Mii’s. Then again, things that do get shown at E3 don’t always end up being the same as when they’re released.
Controllers, Grips, Memory Cards, Cases, Bags, Screen Protectors and everything else. All in one place.
A free for all in Australia.
There's still time before launch.
