America gets Wii U first, launch titles though are up in the air.
Nintendo of America has revealed at their Wii U event in New York City the Wii U launch price and date. That date is November 18th, right before the biggest shopping period of the year for the US, nice. Like Japan, the Wii U will come in two configurations, the Basic Set and the Premium Set however the bundles are slightly different between the regions.
The basic set will set you back $249.99US and comes with 8GB of storage in the console. The bundle includes a HDMI cable, chargers for the GamePad and console (of course) and a Wii U Deluxe Set will set you back $349.99US and comes with a fair bit more.
First off you’ll get a copy of Nintendo Land, something that Japan didn’t get in the same bundle. Included in the box is a Wii U with 32GB of internal storage, a Wii U GamePad Cradle (for charging), Wii U GamePad Stand (for just holding it) and a stand for the Wii to stand upright. There’s also all the chargers, HDMI cable and a Wii Sensor bar included.
The bad news though is that apart from Nintendoland, Reggie didn’t want to announce release dates for most games.
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
