Nintendo has announced during it’s latest Nintendo Directs that both Panorama View and Google Maps will be coming to the Wii U.
Panorama View was a simple demonstration program that was shown off the Wii U at E3 a couple of years ago.
It allowed you to move in real time a scene around in 360 degrees using the GamePad. Panorama View will eventually be available to purchase from the Wii U eShop in 2013 however there will also be a demo version released as well.
Adding to the applications available on the Wii U is a special version of Google Maps. While it will have the usual mapping technology you’re used to it also has a special street view mode that you can use in conjunction with the GamePad to look around. This can also be used on the TV as well of course.
There’s not a more specific date than 2013 at the moment for these two but we’ll let you know when they’re up.
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
