More Nintendo Services also will be affected.
Update: As you know the Wii U Update isn’t up yet, but the Wii U eShop will again be down later in the week with Nintendo posting another maintenance note on their website.
The Wii U eShop will be down again between Friday, 26 April 2013 01:00 (JP Time) to Friday, 26 April 2013 03:00 (JST). That’s at 2am on the east coast of Australia and for everyone else in the world, check this. This downtime is scheduled about 3 hours after the usual European and Australian eShop updates hit.
Original Story: We all know that the big Wii U firmware update was to due to be released sometime this week, now Nintendo have possibly narrowed down the time frame for it.
Tomorrow Nintendo’s online services for basically everything will be down at various time for scheduled maintenance. The Wii U and 3DS eShop as well as the Wii and DSi Shopping channels will be down as well the network services for Pokemon games on the DS.
The online stores will be down from 6am (AEST) Tuesday 23rd of April until 12 noon (AEST) on the same day. If you’re reading this Tuesday morning it’s probably down right now while you’re at work.
It’s expected that soon after the maintenance is complete that the speed saving Wii U update will be released, Nintendo of America has been counting down Virtual Console releases on their Facebook page and the time is about the same. The Virtual Console will be released ‘the day after’ the firmware update goes live.
Will you be at home hitting the Check for Updates button tomorrow?
