On the other hand, for those looking to get into the New Console Launch Experience of Fantasicalness™ may want to consider going to EB Games instead, given a midnight launch is much more likely.

K-Mart has now thrown their hat into the ring with a really great deal on Wii U systems. You’ll looking at $299 for the Basic Wii U Set and $379 for the Wii U Premium Set. According to a post on OzBargain, K-Mart usually don’t do pre-orders but for the Wii U they are and they can be done at the stores service desk for a $40 deposit. This is likely to the be the best price you see on a Wii U for a while. It’s essentially the same as the US pricing.
In addtion: K-Mart will also have a selection of games for $59 and $69, we’ve updated the table below with their pricing.
Big W has got a code on their website that offers $40 off when you spend $300 or more off your first purchase online. What’s more than $300? A Wii U of course.
