Wii successor rumours afloat, due by 2011

Gaming journalist, John Davison, has alledgedly reported that a new Wii will be arriving sometime in 2011, citing “”multiple sources in the game industry”” as his source. So, what about the new Wii? Davison, who is well respected within the community, reports it will feature high definition graphics, like it’s other console cousins, as well as “”a greater emphasis on digitally distributed content and backwardly compatible content””, with Nintendo wanting to “”once again focus on innovating the console’s controller””.
