Nintendos first-party MotionPlus showcase has already sold over 350,000 copies Japan, and is likely to remain a hot seller until years end

Only two other Wii games sold more than WSR in their first four days of sale in Japan- Smash Bros. Brawl at 816,000 and Mario Kart Wii at 608,000. The MotionPlus-only game’s predecessor- Wii Sports- was a game that had legs at the sales counter in Japan, with solid high sales for 18 months in the country, where it was not a bundled-in game with the Wii. With the start of the new financial year just around the corner, and the end of year sales craziness yet to begin, I think we can safely predict that Wii Sports Resort will be one of this year’s top sellers worldwide once it is released in western markets.
