Scroll down a bit. You see that news tidbit about expanding manufacturing partners? Well, despite Nintendos greatest efforts to increase production, Perrin Kaplan, Nintendos VP of marketing and corporate affairs said, There is a lot going on behind the scenes in terms of working on what we are producing and the numbers continue to rise but the product is so very popular that we may see a supply / demand situation last for some time.

More Inside She also went on to say that Nintendo are currently at maximum production capabilities and they are doing everything they can within their powers to get more systems out to the public.

So for all of you out there who are Wii-less, Nintendo are doing everything within their powers to get a console to you as fast as possible, but its just so damn popular theyre having a bit of trouble with it constantly selling out. But keep trying and eventually youll end up with your little white box of joy.
