Wii sells through 700,000 units in France

The Wii has just recently broke the 100,000 barrier in Australia but its sales have exploded in France where sales now top 700,000 units. With a population only three times that of Australia this spells great success for the little white box. The key demographic is the 35-40 year old group which has been attributed to the Wii’s ease of use. Source: GoNintendo
