To put the numbers into perspective, the Xbox 360 has sold 153,000 since its launch nearly a year ago with 13,000 units being sold this year. While no figure for this year has been revealed for the PS2, it sold 265,000 units in 2006 and according to sales trackers GFK “”It’s still a very strong console””
In the last two weeks however, the Wii has over taken the PS2 as the top selling console, no doubt due to a combination of the impending PS3 launch and more so that the Wii is now more readily available.
