There’s yet another Wiivision colour bundle in town. Not our town of course, don’t be silly. It’s for Americans. Outside of the Rainfall games, Nintendo seems to have forgotten about us poor Vookians. And poor we are, for we are denied this stylish black bundle, which features everyone’s favourite Wii with strictly less features. Odd hardware revision aside though, it’s a pretty cool bundle, rocking not only this generation’s most hectic coop game in New Super Mario Bros Wii, but also a super special soundtrack.
The one, the only, Super Marioooo Galaxy! Which is kind of odd for a bundle that doesn’t actually feature the game. But also kind of not odd, for Galaxy’s tunes are incredible. A conundrum! Not something to argue with, no matter how damn puzzling its inclusion is.
Now, onto something really kinda interesting. Nintendo of America have also announced that the existing bundle, which has an original Wii model and Mario Kart is going to sit on shelves alongside this new ebony offering. Now that could just mean the company hasn’t run our of old model Wiis yet, but perhaps it means that the company intends to maintain both SKUs going forward?
We live in interesting times, that’s for sure. (It’s a rare day when I get to say that about a bundle announcement…)
Predictions time once again.
More than 450 games added this final week.
What a year.
