Wii Fit Check-up Channel heading to Japanese Wiis

Japan is getting another new channel while all of us in the rest of the world havent seen anything for a while. Nintendo Japan, in collaboration with, Hitachi, Panasonic and NEC, are developing a new channel that gives you weight related health advice. The channel is Balance Board compatible and can also link up to the Walk With Me pedometers as well as NEC mobile phones. This channel is of course probably never going to see the light outside Japan. Perhaps Nintendo, instead of helping Wii users lose weight, figure out how all these Wiis are going to fit all these extra channels you cant buy a Wii new pants. Source: Nintendo JP
