Wii cut back to original price, new bundle coming to the UK
Nintendo put up the price of the Wii in the UK in the wake of the economic crisis and a languishing video games market- now its coming back down with some bonuses
Due to the poor exchange rate earlier this year, the price of the Wii was actually raised in the UK. However, Nintendo have today reversed their decision. No big deal? It may not be a typical price cut, but the return to its original RRP comes with a few goodies thrown in for good measure
The new Wii SKU launches on October 2nd and will include a Wii, one Wii Remote and one nunchuck like usual, BUT the bundle will also include a MotionPlus unit and copies of both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
So prices drop in Japan and America, some added value and a return to the normal price for the UK, so what about Australia? No word yet, maybe we’ll hear something soon, isn’t that right Nintendo?
