Nintendo of Americas George Harrison has spoken out in a new interview claiming that he expects the Wii to take a huge 40%-50% of the market this generation. He also adds, “”[it] would be a phenomenal increase for us over the GameCube era. But on the other hand, we could get over 50%.”” But it might have a hard time getting there as Harrison stated, even if we’re back in stock in August/September, it doesn’t mean there won’t be shortages for the holidaysIt’s a good situation to be in, although we don’t want to discourage consumers too much let’s hope anyone who wants a Wii this holiday will have their wish granted.
