Gamers looking to show off their Wii Sports skills can do so this weekend, in Federation Square in Melbourne. Starting on Saturday 5th and Sunday the 6th July, the Wii Championships are designed to celebrate Nintendo’s sponsorship of the Game On exhibition. Some amazing Nintendo prizes will be available too, with a Nintendo Wii system and five games being up for grabs daily, and with the first 500 entrants receiving free Wii backpacks! If that’s not enough for you, entrants will also be able to play against celebrities Kelly Landry (from Getaway) and Shura Taft & Georgia Sinclair from KidsWB. Details from Nintendo inside.
