Just like with The Beatles and Lego versions, gamers wont be able to export the Green Day tracks from next years entry in the series to the older Wii releases

Pi Studios hasnt given the greatest of support for the Wii in their ports of the Rock Band series. The first Rock Band release lacked an online component of any kind, for DLC or multiplayer, and while Rock Band 2 has received much better support in this area its still lacking in a crucial area compared to its high-def counterparts. Unlike them, the recent Lego Rock Band and The Beatles Rock Band releases do not support track exporting to the older main releases. The trend continues with the recently announced Green Day Rock Band, with MTV revealing that the option wont be available on the Wii version.

Not that this would affect us all that much though, as we havent even seen Rock Band 2 yet in Australia, which was released late last year in North America.
