Today in the West Australian you may have noticed an article stipulating that the Wifi Connection Tour would be at the Carousel in Cannington this Saturday.
Now when this tour was announced we knew a few states were missing out, including WA. However this article contradicts both Nintendo Australias website and Press Releases, in search of an answer we contacted Nintendo Australia for a comment, and we got the following response:
Sorry to disappoint but this was a mistake on The West Australians behalf, Western Australia has never been on any of our material and we never released any information to suggest it
The West Australian has been contacted by both Vooks.Net and Nintendo Australia to try and get a published retraction, while it would have been cool if it was true its sadly not. The West Australian got it wrong, there will be no Nintendo Tour there on Saturday.
UPDATE: The West Australian has printed a formal retraction in the Saturday edition of the paper (7th Jan) regarding the matter.
