What’s out on the Switch and 3DS this month in Australia

We don’t usually do a “games out this month” style post here on Vooks, until the Switch came along there wasn’t really the kind of volume of releases required for one (thanks, Wii U).

However, we took a look at the release date calendar and November is going to be absolutely nuts for the Switch both at retail and on the eShop. There’s also a new Pokémon game on the 3DS, it’s a wallet-busting month.

As the eShop gets updated we’ll attempt to keep the calendar up to date as always, dates are more fluid on there so we might miss a couple.

Let us know what you’re punishing the old bank account with in the comments.

That list is exciting, and almost scary. I’ll be going Snipperclips for local multiplayer then LA Noire & Skyrim (haven’t played either before)

    I don’t need Doom, I mean, I’ve got it on PS4 already.

Loved LA Noire on the PC – a definite must-have – Didn’t get the big fss about Skyrim, but am likely to get it again to try it on Switch.
Also Doom. First ever PC game back in the day…can’t wait to try the new version.

Hands down Skyrim. This will be great for me and my Switch. Oh the places we’ll go.

Pre-ordered Doom, Skyrim (again), Pokemon Ultra as well as the Amiibo.

I’ll be nabbing Rocket League and considering picking up LA noir or Gunvolt double pack. It’s a big month! Plenty on there to be excited about.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar still says Nov 30 at EB Games but the Kickstarter page says it’s been delayed on Switch with no eta.

I’ve pre-ordered Doom, Skyrim, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and will probably pick up Battle Chasers and RE:Revelations 1+2 at a later date!

I’ve got Skyrim pre-ordered, I’m importing L.A.Noire (its way cheaper), downloading Rime (again, cheaper) and I’ll probably get RE:Revelations at some point.
BTW, has anyone noticed that EB no longer has revelations listed for switch???

Wouldn’t mind Skyrim a third time, might wait for an inevitable price drop though.

Preordered Battle Chasers, but we’ll see if they get that bug fixed in time, I guess.

Resident Evil is tempting, but again, third purchase, so I’ll wait.

Not super excited for Pokemon, but I’ll probably end up getting it day one, as usual.

I was really looking forward to L.A. Noire, but Rockstar decided to cheap out and a 16GB cartridge, and impose a 14GB mandatory download (the full game is 29GB, so it could very well have have fit on a 32GB cartridge). The fact that it’s substantially more expensive in Australia (the port is budget-priced in the U.S.) makes this even more despicable. I won’t be indulging any retail game that resorts to this abhorrent practice. And it’s such a tremendous shame too, because you’d think that Rockstar of all companies wouldn’t stoop this low and produce such a substandard product.

The DOOM situation is excusable only because the multiplayer portion of the game would be unplayable anyway after the servers are turned off (although it would be nice if we could still explore the maps), but it is still a matter of Bethesda flat-out refusing to use a 32GB cartridge, which does not bode well for Wolfenstein II, and I really, really hope that they don’t butcher that as I would hate to have to skip that too.
