Alright, we know this week is going to be a whole lot more amazing than the last week but bear with it. Its almost time. Last week we looked back on our Mario memories to give you the good, the bad and a future perspective of where Mario is going. We also found where Cammie Dunaway was going – shes leaving Nintendo and the whole video game industry altogether.
So the weekend before last, Pokémon Black and White came out and they sold a lot. In fact it was a record-breaking amount with 2.63 million copies being sold in two days. The weeks news wasnt completely solid though; IGN claimed they got hold of some 3DS specs, which look pretty good although it has ignited debate on the internet. Nintendo might have not gone to the TGS this year, but they said "stuff it" and just rented out the whole place for Wednesdays big event, thats just how they roll. Last but not least there is apparently a new Wii Remote on the way. See, solid news for the past week, right?
On the local scene, Nintendo Australia announced a bunch of new events for the school holidays… in Sydney and Melbourne. Theyre also touring the country to show off the history of Mario, and weve got some snaps for you in case you cant make it yourself.
