Weekly Round-Up w/e September 19th – It was TGS?
Nintendo fans may be excused if they didnt know TGS was on as Mario celebrates his 25th
It was a huge huge week in the gaming industry last week, thats unless of course youre talking about anything for the Wii and DS consoles; there was just nothing that interesting for Wii and DS owners (well, new stuff anyway). We did get a 3DS Garden simulator though, so all is forgiven.
The other big news of the week was Marios 25 Anniversary. Though it seems Japan is the only country celebrating it in style – theyre getting a whole swag of merch, and Super Mario All Stars on a Wii compilation disc. Everyone else, slightly less. Though we all got this trailer… its pretty cool. Europe though, get one of those Classic Controllers in the shape of a SNES pad, very awesome.
The third big hit of news this past week was definitely the news, that we found, about the "3DSWare" trademark here in Australia. Not only does that basically confirm that 3DSWare exists, but hopefully the Nintendo 3DS is coming sooner than we think.
Other noteworthy news
