Water Festival 2018 kicks off in Pokémon Go

It’s back for 2018! The Pokémon Go Water Festival is back again, like before there will be water Pokémon everywhere but also some great bonuses and two new possible shiny Pokémon.

For this event, which runs from Friday morning Australian time until June 21st there will be;

• Increased appearance of Water-type Pokémon
• 3x Stardust for catching Water-type Pokémon
• 2km Eggs will hatch different Pokémon including Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish (among others)
• Double candy and Stardust for each egg hatched.
• Raid Battles will feature water Pokémon, Kyogre returning as well.
• Both Shellder and Kyogre could be shiny

It’s also the perfect time to catch up on those Magikarp candies if you’re yet to get Gyarados (or Mew).
