Watch: First look at Sonic Forces ‘Modern’ gameplay in action

SEGA has released a first look at Sonic Forces, the final name for Project Sonic 2017.

The 40 seconds of footage shown is of the ‘modern’ gameplay style in the game. The game will also feature ‘classic’ Sonic gameplay and a third mode that has yet to be revealed. The game is said to be an evolution of Sonic Colors and Generations.

Sonic Forces will be released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this Christmas.
