There have been rumours regarding a TV show based on Ubisofts Rabbid franchise for a while, but now its official – there is a Raving Rabbids pilot episode in the making, by none other than the famed animation studio and creators of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, Aardman Studios.
In a press release, Miles Bullough, Head of Broadcast at Aardman stated: "We absolutely love the characters and can’t wait to help bring them to a television audience." Its still unknown whether the new show will be a stop-motion like their other shows or something completely new, but the graphical style of the Raving Rabbids games seems to lend itself perfectly to stop-motion.
Now, we must remember, this is only a pilot episode, so theres only a chance that the show will be made into a full series and hit Australian TV screens, but with the hilarious antics of the Rabbids mixed with the stop motion genius of Aardman, how could this be anything but successful?
From Mario to Zelda, to Splatoon to Donkey Kong. Everything on Nintendo Music.
Definitively done with the Wii U now.
But it's not for everyone yet.
