E3 is a mere two weeks away, and were packing our bags for LA, ready for another year of big announcements, wishes fulfilled and hopefully not too many dreams shattered. It’s June and that means E3 is just a few days away. You’ll be deligh...
It’s June and that means E3 is just a few days away. You’ll be delighted to hear that Vooks.net is armed and ready for the media onslaught that’s set to go down in LA from Tuesday the 15th to Thursday the 17th of June. We can’t wait to see what Nintendo and third-party developers have in store for us, with plenty of great new software expected for the Wii, Nintendo DS and of course the hotly anticipated but little-understood Nintendo 3DS. Oh, and apparently there’s gonna be a new Zelda game for Wii.
Last year’s E3 was a big improvement over previous years, as the event returned to its showy beginnings. As such, we’ve decided to return to the showfloor in LA to provide you with first-hand coverage and impressions of all the hot new Nintendo software on offer. The Vooks crew will be providing as-it-happens coverage of the major press conferences, and we’ve even sent over features editor Josh Moulds to provide you all with hands-on impressions of all the great new games. Moulds will be one of the first Australians to get some gaming time with the yet-to-be-unveiled 3DS and a bunch of shiny new games that we’ve promised to keep our lips shut about.
Once again, Vooks will be your number one all-Aussie source at E3 for all things Nintendo.
Nintendo are lining up to once again steal the show as they open up on the first morning of E3 Day One. With a 2-hour conference lined up, you just know it’s gonna be packed with big announcements (and maybe a boring graph or two). Want to stay up and catch all the developments live? Well we’ve got you covered, as readers from major Australian cities can set their alarm clocks for the following times to follow our live-blogging of the Nintendo Press Event:
Are you prepared? We sure are. No other site in Australia will be providing the same standard of Nintendo coverage this year, as we promise to bring you news on all the new games, hands-on impressions and of course lively opinion on the highs and lows of the year’s biggest gaming media event.
We’ll post up a story later with our live blog, IRC and chat room links and as well as links to watch it live. Who is going to stay up?
In the meantime, be sure to follow the Vooks crew Twitter feeds in the lead-up to E3:

Definitively done with the Wii U now.
Because Gate Rune and Dunan Unification War is too long to fit in a title.
