Vookcast Episode #104 – Steampunk, Japanese Ghosts and Transformers

The team returns to our traditional format for this episode, where we do a brief recap of all the latest news in the world of Nintendo. Since there’s no new releases to talk about, we are doing what we call Team Picks, where the team talks about one game each that they are presently playing instead.

As per usual with most of our recaps, we provide the latest updates on Super Smash Bros. as well as Hyrule Warriors. Please note that there’s no discussion of the recent leaks or spoilers as we recorded the episode prior to the leaks being made.

The latest updates from the world of Pokemon, as well as updates for the eShop and it’s titles are also discussed in some detail. We briefly cover some of the new game announcements straight out of Japan, as well as some bad news (as always) such as Ubisoft’s comments about the Wii U.

The team picks for this episode were SteamWorld Dig for Wii U, Calling for Wii, Rogue Legacy as well as the 3DS version of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (which is developed by WayForward). We talk about them all in moderate detail.

So that’s it for another fortnight! Be sure to join us in two weeks time where we will be doing yet another Vooks Critical Review (VCR) on No More Heroes for Wii.

Don’t forget to subscribe on iTunes! Subscribers get the episodes earlier than the general public!
