Viva Piata or Kameo on DS? It makes sense
“”A Kameo or a Viva Piata on a DS makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways from a franchise perspective”” said Shane Kim, a Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Game Studios at the DICE summit recently.
“”I think it’s fair to say that we’re going to continue to invest in that property [Viva Piata],”” Kim said. “”Whether that is in the form of a sequel, a product line extension or through merchandising, whatever the case may be, that’s something that we’re going to stick with.””
More Inside So while Kim didn’t mention that a DS Piata game was set in stone, it was certainly hinted at when he mentions the sequel and product line extension and the DS could fill either of those positions quite easily. Rare still like to support the DS aswell, which was shown with Diddy Kong Racing DS among others, so it makes sense to send Viva Piata to a DS where it would fit in well with the likes of Animal Crossing.
