Video: Nintendo 3DS XL Hands On Impressions and Mini Review

Our Nintendo 3DS XL finally arrived this week and we know you’ve been wanting us to have a look at it for a while now.

So then, here’s 20 minutes of quality Nintendo 3DS XL hands on, impressions, comparisons and even all the up close to the camera, pixel by pixel inspection.

The Nintendo 3DS XL so far has turned out to be great, the screen is fabulous and bright. The system build quality looks and feels terrific as well.

It’s so far a great all round little unit, it really does make the normal 3DS feel real old and look garish.

The Nintendo 3DS XL is out in Australia on August 23rd for $249, but we’ll have a bargain round up (assuming there are any bargains) before then.

So the question is… do I buy this for that price (reasonable) or take advantage of the fact that the 3DS will now get even cheaper?

    Decisions…

Gotta go the XL if you don’t already own a 3DS. I’ll be waiting for a special colour/edition of the XL before I buy it (hopefully one comes out – Mario 30th anniversary? :P)

My friend got the Zelda 3DS which is pretty awesome. I got the 3DS on launch.
I like the look of the XL but I could be waiting indefinitely for a special edition or I could buy the XL and a special edition could come out not long after 😛

Can’t wait for my silver one. Really looking forward to replaying OoT on that massive screen 🙂
