The New Nintendo 3DS downloads things from the eShop faster, much faster.
In this video we put the new system to the test against an older 3DS XL and even though we cheated and didn’t actually finish the download, you can still see the differences even just a few minutes into it.
So what’s causing this speed change, is it the new CPU? Is it a new wireless technology? Possibly both – but whatever it is it means the eShop loads quicker, downloads demos and games quicker and you can even download games from the home menu (and the lid doesn’t have to be shut).
