BPlus, the developers of WiiWare games Bit Boy and Niki – Rock n Ball, have recently announced Vector Tank 3D+, a new game for the 3DS, and the first 3DS game to be announced after E3

This eye-searingly bright game sees you taking control of the rather imaginatively named Vector Tank, as you drive around a virtual world ridding it of an evil megavirus that could very well destroy the entire structure of your virtual world.

What’s really interesting, though, is the game’s controls, which have you literally moving the system around to aim and move the in-game camera around. Using the 3DS’ motion sensors and cameras, the game can tell where it is in 3D space and translate that into in game movement, like an iPhone game.

The art style has a Super FX Chip-like vibe to it, obviously inspired by 90s games like Virtua Fighter and Stunt Race FX.

The European release date is penned in as a vague Spring 2011 release date, so now we know the 3DS will be out around that time.
