Update: More information on 3DS Update coming November, actual release later
Looks like well be getting more official information then and the firmware update later.
Update: Looks like we were wrong, the November 4th date is when more information about the system update will be revealed, could this mean the November 22nd date is the actual launch date instead? Well find out more tonight either way!
Original Story: Nintendo Europe has announced that it was release the much awaited November firmware update for the 3DS on November 4th. The update will contain 3D Video Recording, a tweaked eShop, friend invites through the 3DS menu (for Mario Kart) and the Mii Plaza will be getting a brand new game. Full details of this update are expected at Nintendo’s Friday presentation. (link)
So when are we getting it? Well the Europeans will be getting it on November 4th, which if you turn your head away from your calendar on your system back to the story you’ll know it’s just a couple of weeks away. Australia though apparently isn’t getting the firmware update until November 22nd, Nintendo Australia have told Kotaku AU. We’re not sure why if any reason Nintendo would have to delay the system update, we are on the same firmware as the Europeans after all. We’ll follow it up.
Now that Friday’s surprise has almost all been spoiled, who’s still excited?
