Unreal Engine is now fully supported on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo and Epic Games, not a combination that you will have thought to hear before and you can just stop right there, this is no games announcement. In fact this is better than a single game, this is the culmination of many things, but the end result is that Nintendo Switch supports Unreal Engine.

While there may not be a lot of excitement for that news right now, the big takeaway from that fact is that with full Unreal Engine support, the Switch now supports most of the common 3rd party software development tools, once you include Unity 3D and Monogame Framework. Snake Pass, Redout and the new Shin Megami Tensei game are all being created in Unreal Engine, with more to come.

You can watch Reggie in action in the video below to hear just how excited he is for this news.
