Remember when NBA Jam was announced to be released exclusively on the Wii? Remember when Nintendo reconfirmed that at their E3 Press Conference? Well guess what? EA announced today that it will in fact be getting a HD release.
In a press release today, EA announced that NBA Jam will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 in addition to the Wii this October. The Wii version will be a standard disc release, however, the only way to get the game on the PS3/360 will be to buy a copy of NBA Elite 11, which will have a code that lets you download NBA Jam.
The downloadable HD version of NBA Jam will feature 3 modes: Play Now, Classic Campaign and Online Multiplayer. The Remix Campaign mode has remained Wii-exclusive.
From Mario to Zelda, to Splatoon to Donkey Kong. Everything on Nintendo Music.
Definitively done with the Wii U now.
But it's not for everyone yet.
