Arcade Standby Feature, Network battles and more.
Capcom promised it was going to reveal more features for Ultra Street Fighter II leading up to its release and now it has.
It has detailed all of the online modes in the game, including some surprises. The first is the ‘Arcade Standby Feature’. It allows you to be playing against the CPU in Arcade mode but be challenged at any time by another online player. Capcom says this brings “you back to the excitement and tension of the days other players would cut in for a fight at the arcade.”.
The other modes are fairly typical to Street Fighter and include support for both local and online multiplayer battles. You can fight online in either ranked matches or casual matches. Here’s some screenshots from the game;
This update also reveals the fact that not all online services and matchmaking will have to run through the infamous ‘app’ Nintendo has planned for the Switch’s online services.
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
