Ubisoft declares Steep on the Switch dead

Gasp! Ubisoft has confirmed, via a reply to a Tweet that the Nintendo Switch version of Steep is officially canned.

This won’t any great shock to people when you don’t hear about a game for a year – its pretty much done. Here’s the tweet;

Hey @RJISAGAMER! We are wholly dedicated to supporting the live game, and made the decision to stop Steep development on the Nintendo Switch platform to focus on bringing new live content and challenges to Steep players instead. We’ll have more exciting news to share soon.

Steep was announced for the Switch all the way back at the Nintendo Presentation in January 2017.
