Tubehax is the latest homebrew hack for the Nintendo 3DS
Long gone are the days on needing a copy of Cubic Ninja to get your homebrew fix on the Nintendo 3DS. Today you can use the YouTube application available on the eShop.
Tubehax is the latest exploit from hacker Smealum, it works very much like the hack that Cubic Ninja used but since you can grab YouTube from the eShop for free its a lot easier to get. The hack also works with IRONFALL, however Nintendo has since removed that from the eShop. It removed it even before the exploit was fixed.
This exploit allows you to run your Nintendo 3DS region free, emulate other systems and of course homebrew applications. It does not allow for the piracy of Nintendo 3DS games retail or otherwise.
Will Nintendo remove YouTube from the eShop just like it did IRONFALL? Only time will tell.
