Transport your NES Classic Edition with style in this protective case
Nintendo might not be launching a ‘full size’ new console this year, but they are launching the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System and like any new system there’s some accessories on the way.
This one will help you transport your Mini NES in style and keep it protected in case still smaller than the original NES. Remember if you’re really reliving the 80s and you’re not carrying your console around in protected bag – are you really retro?
The case has space for the console, two controllers and all the cables you need to get gaming. At the moment the case is only available from Amazon.com, which means importing it. We ordered one for around $35AUD, but hopefully someone will have it locally. It will be released on November 22nd.
Nice Vooks, let us know how it is, hopefully EB will get it.
EB has an exclusive (timed?) on the Playing with Power: Nintendo NES Classics hardcover book ($69.95 https://ebgames.com.au/wiiu-220615-Playing-with-Power-Nintendo-NES-Classics-guide-Wii-U) that is timed around the min NES release. It is much cheaper currently to import yourself (hardcover $36.17, paperback $5.76 AUD each with delivery from the Book Depository) doing a price search on booko.com.au.
As much as I would like to see this case on shelves in Australia the (timed) exclusives (e.g. Amiibo End Level Display, “online only” Shovel Knight Amiibo) do not promote competition and reasonable prices.
